Description

This is a beautiful, fully refurbished, Selmer Signet Special wood clarinet. Serial number 75085. The instrument was disassembled and cleaned. The body was given a bore oil treatment along with a hand rubbed oil treatment on the outside. The keys were buffed to the highest shine the plating allows.  There are normal signs of ware.
All
tenon corks and
all
key corks (not mouthpiece cork) have been replaced with AAA/AAAA quality cork which is the finest cork found anywhere.
All
pads have been replaced with new double bladder pads. Springs were adjusted and/or replaced as needed. The clarinet was reassembled with light oil applied to hinge rods and the keys adjusted to correct playing condition. The clarinet was leak checked and play tested.
Included is a used Selmer HS ** mouthpiece, a used D. Bonade ligature, metal cap,  one new reed, and a new tube of Cork Shield Premium Cork Grease from Instrument Clinic.
This is a very durable clarinet. Partially due to the metal tenons around the ends. It helps protected and strengthen them.
The case shows its age. One latch spring is lazy but works. The case is functional.
