ABOUT:
Beautiful antique moonstone and garnet ring in 10k rosy gold set at an angle with sweetly etched shoulders.  Such a lovely piece from the Victorian / Jugendstil / Art Nouveau period.
The domed moonstone has a translucent creamy grayish color to it, very pretty.  The little garnets on each end give it a nice pop of color and sparkle.  Gold has a beautiful antique patina that is rosey in some light, it tested at 10k.
Tested accurately as garnet on my Presidium gem tester.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Currently a size 4 1/2.  The moonstone is about 7mm long, it is domed and stands about 3.5mm tall.
HALLMARKS:
No hallmarks, tested for 10k gold.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
No cracks, scuffs or noticeable to the stone, even under magnification it looks great.
Some surface wear and scratches to the gold from wear over the years but prongs look good and no dings, dents, bends or deep nicks.
Like all antique jewelry, please handle these rings with care.  And my disclaimer with all my estate pieces - due to age, please note this piece is not in mint condition.
