Fairly Gorgeous Condition!
Leather is still pretty solid
You can see where it has separated on the side edges of the back skirt (pictured)
Missing one of the stars that affixes the top piece to the top of the Helmet (pictured)
The Brass Ball top is an ORIGINAL replacement piece I purchased after searching Long & Hard -The treading of this piece does not match the threading of the original piece and you can note the difference in Patina from one piece to the other!
The Original Artillery Ball piece, missing the top of the dome is also included in this listing
Liner is in pretty remarkable shape for it's age
There is a nice Patina to the front Badge and the other Brass implements to the Helmet
Officer's Chin Strap & Cockades are also just the way you want to see them
Perhaps a Loose Thread here or there
Chinstrap still buckles smartly on the front - or - over the front Brim
Could Be the Most Original example of this Rare Helmet You will Ever find!

This Helmet
Has your normal expected wear from war, usage & Storage but is really quite solid and would make a great war relic (From the 'Great War') displayed Amongst your other war Treasures!
