Buffet Evette Wood Clarinet - Plays Great - Vandoren Mouthpiece - Pro Level.
Selling an older Buffet Evette Wooden clarinet. The serial number reads E129xxx, and it also says made in France.
The clarinet was recently sent to the repair shop since I’m selling it. The corks were all replaced, as well as numerous pads. They also polished the clarinet and worked on some of the larger scratches in the horn. I did take pictures of the tenons. There is one smaller chip that can easily be filled and another that could be fixed with some time.
All of the parts came with the clarinet when I bought it. However, the barrel that came with it is not original to my knowledge. It is marked “The Peddler Co. Elkhart, Ind.” It is a wooden barrel and if you do some research on The Peddler clarinets, it is a wonderful barrel that works well with this clarinet.
The clarinet comes with a newer (only used a few months) Vandoren M30 clarinet mouthpiece. Still has the case for the mouthpiece, which I will ship separately if requested.
The clarinet plays well. It can play all chromatic notes from low E to high C without issue. It is a wood clarinet so it does require more air than a plastic student model, so if your switching for the first time it can take some time to get acclimated.
