    CA. 1900 B. F. MEEK & SONS "BLUEGRASS No. 5" FISHING REEL W/ORIGINAL BOX
    NO RESERVE
    This "no reserve" auction is for a vintage circa 1900 B. F. MEEK & SONS, LOUISVILLE, KY. "BLUEGRASS No. 5" fishing (casting) reel together with its original box.  This reel is in excellent working and appearing condition.  It is approximately 2 1/4" in diameter, and 2 1/4" wide.  The corners of the box are a little frayed, but it is still in overall sound condition.  The "No. 5" on the box label is there ( "No." is printed, "5" is written), but the "5" is very faint/faded, so you have to look very closely.
