The Buffet Crampon Festival Clarinet in Bb(Bes) with Grenadille wood body, Goretex and leather pads and silver plated 1/6 key mechanism was designed in 1987 in collaboration with professional clarinetists to meet today's needs of musicians and teachers. The Festival clarinet is a versatile instrument that can handle a wide repertoire of works from classical to experimental and comes with two barrels for easy switching between 440Hz and 442Hz pitch.
The Festival is based on the same bore as the R13, but has a slightly adjusted register tube and placement of the tone holes to improve tuning.  All Buffet Crampon Festival clarinets come with an Eb-lever and metal-capped tenons.  Musicians will certainly appreciate its depth of sound, which is particularly warm. The tone and precision of this instrument are in perfect harmony.
