Description

This super cool antique Victorian period ring dates from around 1870 and is made of a ribbon of solid 9 carat gold spiraled around a section of genuine elephant hair!
It's simple yet superbly detailed at the same time, and is light and incredibly wearable. In classical neo-Egyptian style, it will have been brought back from their Grand Tour by a member of the English gentry who took an elephant ride.
Size 8, not resizable, it's stamped '9ct' for solid 9 carat gold. It's in excellent, lightly worn, fully wearable condition throughout, with no loss or damage. It weighs 0.3 grams and the band measures just over 2 mm wide.
