Antique Edwardian 10K yellow gold amethyst ring sz 7.5

Here is this very beautiful early 20th century antique Edwardian era solid 10 K yellow gold ring with a 10 mm x 8 mm single faceted tabletop cut natural amethyst gemstone , this is not a cut you see very often and it's usually done on garnet . About 2.5 cts this is a beautiful gemstone with nice color and only tiny bit of surface where seen under magnification as it sits in a very sturdy bezel setting , the gemstone has one facet along the edge and the top of the gemstone sits flush with the bezel and is the reason the gemstone is so well preserved . This ring weighs 2.7 g and it is a size 7.5 that can easily be sized by a jeweler . The top of the ring measures just over 12 mm north to south and the band is still quite sturdy with its original hallmark on the inside that says  "  10K GOLD  "  .  Please study the photos with only gentle signs of wear this is a very beautiful old amethyst ring in excellent antique condition ready to be worn  .   ...
