ABOUT:
Pretty antique 14k solid rose and yellow gold pin conversion ring with a bezel set amethyst with a delicately etched outline.  Created from an antique Victorian stick pin that was hallmarked 14k.  You can make out part of the 14k stamp on the back of the pin but the 1 is covered.  The band, which was originally the pin post, is rosy gold and the etched ring face is in yellow gold.  Great stacker, or dainty alone, or as a pinky or midi ring to add a little eye catching statement with its beautiful color and style.  I believe the amethyst is natural as it looks to have an inclusion under strong magnification (nothing visible to the naked eye).
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
I think it is around a size 5?  I can't put it on my ring sizer because the stone reaches out the back which keeps it from sliding down the mandrel post for a size reading.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Please note the band is very delicate because it was made by the pin post.  It feels sturdy and does not flex when you put pressure on it, but I would imagine if you pinch the piece between a rock and hard place it would likely bend because it is thin, so as with all these antique pieces, please handle with care. A bit of wear on the culet but the surface of the stone has very little wear and is very sparkly.  The stone extends out of the underside of the ring face, it is not sharp or anything but I would again recommend delicate wear so that it doesn't catch on something and rub against the skin. It helps that the ring face is very low profile.  It still presents beautifully but due to age - please note this is not a mint condition item.
