is one of the most beautiful classic Mercedes sedan I have ever seen. In as new condition.
Original
paint (code 681 H Manila Beige) affectionately known as the Mercedes yellow... with Camel interior... it's an extremely gorgeous color combo. Pics don't do the car justice. It even smells awesome.
One previous owner car. Documented miles.
The price on the car is based on the rarity, condition, color, miles, original paint, wheels, carfax, history, records and Nada and Hagerty valuation guide. You may not see one as clean as this. It doesn't get any better.
First year of production built in 1982. It is a California car with no rust whatsoever... it is CLEAN!
Notice the exceptionally high score for this car - carfax is A1 - Owner was in the military and worked for the Dept of Defense… Art is a special example of these cars and has been meticulously maintained.

This car is going up in value every year. This is an extremely rare car. I would not be surprised at all if the "buy it now" option is applied to this auction as the car is very fairly priced. Do your research.

Original Mercedes manuals pictured is only one in the glove compartment but have the set with an envelope of paperwork

Paint is stellar with a few dings here and there - couple of hard to see door dings - some stone chips but for the age of this car its pretty darn incredible.

Insurance is unbelievably cheap with collector car insurance. If you are buying this car and are not familiar with this type of automobile insurance you should look into it. (State Farm,Hagerty, JC Taylor, Chubb, Grundy)

Steering feels great with power assist in factory condition - no play at all
Alignment is straight as an arrow
Motor starts right up
Car starts immediately even if car has been sitting for months
No smoking exhaust or issues of any kind whatsoever
Motor purrs - car runs cooool in traffic
Glass is perfect except two stone chips on the windshield - been that way for years
Spare tire wheel is a polished aluminum replacement - nice touch
Tires are brand new with 100% tread
Tools for tire removal intact
First Aid never opened
All emblems in tip top condition
Hood ornament showing no age at all... chrome looks beautiful
Windows in front and rear working
Sunroof operational
Rear window defrost operational
Door locks work as normal - automatic door locking / unlocking mechanism disabled (let me know if you want the auto locking system enabled)
Wipers working - new.
All turning signals and lights including fog working
Interior lights including trunk, engine, visor, glove compartment and rear all work
All switches work everywhere
All dash lights work including variable switch to dim interior accessory lights
Dashboard looks great with cracks professionally restored - comes with dash cover
Rear deck is showing no color fading
Front and rear MB Tex seats also in new condition complete in every way
Rear seat belts look never used
Carpet throughout looks good especially for the original loop with low signs of wear including on the drivers side floor
Headliner is in good condition with one small compromise over the rear passenger right side
Speakers working with no noises, blown tweeters or woofers
Radio is bluetooth Blaupunct & works great - loud
Fader switch on shift panel is A1
Antenna is also as new
Hazard switch illuminating as it should with the hazards working fine
Parking brake pedal works as it should
Door panels look amazing
Wood is in absolutely amazing condition
Glove compartment opens, shuts with slide lock mechanism
AC works and blows cold
Climate control is working
Heat works
Defrost works
Interior AC component lighting works
Seats look really nice
Seat adjustment and handles to adjust seats are intact and work as they should
Seat back netting tight
Front and rear seat belts work great
Floor pedals are showing next to no wear
Dash controls work
Oil Pressure, clock, trip meter, odometer and gas gauge all working
Warning lights for brakes, seatbelt, headlights, hi-beam and battery working
Transmission is shifting smooth and strong
Wiper arm and knob working as it should
The window washer does not work
Brake release and hood release work great
Hood liner is in new condition
Trunk liner also in great condition as is the carpet - notice a few stains
Door panels and handles are also close to perfect
Seat recliner knobs and buttons working and looking fine
